Kaizer Chiefs’ Khune is the best keeper in the country says Swallows coach Kerr

It was said simply. Kaizer Chiefs’ Itumeleng Khune is the best goalie in Mzansi, this is according to Swallows FC coach Dylan Kerr.

The former Bafana Bafana number has only made one appearance this season and it was in the MTN8 against Mamelodi Sundowns in August 2021. Still, Kerr has rated Khune as the best player that wears gloves in this country.

Whether Kerr meant was or one of the best, Denis Onyango’s biggest fans are always willing to challenge this opinion.

“We want to keep a clean sheet… that would increase our chances of winning the game,” Kerr told the media before the DStv Compact Cup game on Saturday.

“We have the best keeper in the country [referring to Khune], so they will find it difficult to score against us,” he added.

In other Khune news, the former Bafana Bafana star gave fans something to laugh about during his side’s DStv Compact Cup semi-final.

Khune returned to the field of play for the first since August after being selected by fans for the Warriors FC.
