The Buccaneers have already secured R8 million in prize money after winning the MTN8 title.

Furthermore, Jose Riveiro’s side have to win their final match of the DStv Premiership season to secure second spot against AmaZulu with a healthy scoreline.

There’s another trophy up for grabs for the Soweto giants after they booked their place in the Nedbank Cup final.

Jose Riveiro’s side face Sekhukhune United in the final scheduled to take place in two weeks time.

If everything goes smoothly for Jose Riveiro’s side, the club will be smiling all the way to the bank.

Should Orlando Pirates go on to finish in second place in the DStv Premiership, they’ll secure R7.5 million in prize money.

Furthermore, if they go on to beat Sekhukhune United in the Nedbank Cup, R7 million more awaits them.

The PSL Q innovation 4 is also up for grabs for the Buccaneers, depending on how their final league match goes. Should they win it, another R1.5 million awaits.

In total, the Buccaneers could bank up to R24 million in prize money this season.
