Kekana, now 36, is currently a free agent after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns after a decade at the Tshwane giants.

The former Masandawana skipper was previously linked with a move to both Chippa United and Swallows, but indications now suggest a move to one of the PSL teams based in Limpopo is a more likely scenario.

Reigning DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns announced in early November that they had come to an amicable agreement with Kekana.

The veteran midfielder departed Chloorkop as the club’s most decorated captain having made more than 350 appearances across all competitions for the Brazilians.
