Asked where these rumours may be coming from, the 32-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs star said his lack of regular game time at Sundowns might be the reason.

However, Maluleka feels he in a good space, adding that he’s happy at Sundowns and, therefore, will not be leaving the club.

“To be honest, I think it’s because of where I was, with me playing week in and out. Now I come here (to Sundowns), I play, I don’t play, I play, I don’t play,” Maluleka told reporters.

“I am very happy at Sundowns and I am in a very good space. George is happy, George is not going anywhere,” he said.

Maluleka admitted having heard reports about him possibly going back to SuperSport United, and while he didn’t rule out a move away altogether, the midfielder said he’s still belongs to Sundowns.

“I have heard about these moves. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen. I am a Sundowns player and I am not going anywhere,” added Maluleka.
