Gavin Hunt makes SuperSport United January transfer window signing

SuperSport United have confirmed signing former Maritzburg United midfielder Zukile Kewuti until the end of the season.

SuperSport United have confirmed signing former Maritzburg United midfielder Zukile Kewuti until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old midfielder has not played in the top flight this season, but made 19 appearances for Maritzburg United in their 2021/22 DStv Premiership campaign.

He has also previously played for AmaZulu FC and Cape Town City FC.

The news of his SuperSport United deal was released in a club statement.

“SuperSport United would like to announce the signature of midfielder Zukile Kewuti on a short-term deal until the end of the season.”

Kewuti was excited to have joined Matsatsantsa and said: “Firstly I would like to thank the SuperSport United technical team for trusting and believing in me.

“I am very excited and overwhelmed to join this young energetic team.

“Coach Gavin (Hunt) is an ambitious coach and I’m looking forward to working with him,” Kewuti added.
