Mahlambi, 23, joined the Chilli Boys on a season-long loan deal from defending DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
Hunt and Mahlambi have a history together having previously worked together at now defunct BidVest Wits.

Phakamani Mahlambi’s future remains uncertain at Brazilians with widespread suggestions he may be offloaded either before his contract ends in 2024 – or when it does.
In an interview with Kickoff, Hunt said he liked what he saw of the player in training.
“He is fine, He’s doing well in training.
“He might play in our next match.”

Chippa United, who only narrowly avoided relegation last season, have made a bright start to this campaign have beaten Sekhukhune United 1-0 in their opening match and then held Mamelodi Sundowns to a goalless draw in Gqeberha.
They will next be in action against Royal AM in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban on Sunday, 12 September at 15:00.
