Kermit Erasmus: Sundowns to Kaizer Chiefs
Chiefs MD Bobby Motaung has more or less ruled a move for the Sundowns striker, but you can never say never in football. A player of Kermit’s experience and calibre would have Amakhosi fans feeling a lot more optimistic about the 2022-23 season.

Pule Mmodi: Golden Arrows to Kaizer Chiefs
The Amakhosi attacking unit has looked toothless at times and is in desperate need of a reshuffle. 29-year-old Golden Arrows attacker Pule Mmodi is keen on a move to Chiefs, and he’s in red-hot form. Only Peter Shalulile (six) has more PSL goals this season than Mmodi’s four so far.
Ndumiso Mabena: Free agent to Orlando Pirates
This one would tick a lot of boxes. Mabena is vastly experienced at the top level. Pirates, Chippa and Maritzburg are said to be keen, but it’s obvious who the favourites are for his signature. Besides, he’s been a Buccaneer before.

Lyle Lakay: Sundowns to Cape Town City
The arrival of Terrence Mashego at Sundowns has pushed Lyle Lakay down the pecking order in the left-back position. Lakay might well be on the move today, perhaps to Cape Town City on loan, as a direct replacement for Mashego.
