According to reports, former Orlando Pirates striker Justin Shonga has been offered a contract worth around R10 million as he continues his search for a new club.

Shonga, 24, has been unemployed since parting ways with Cape Town City FC at the end of last season. 

Soccer Laduma sources have reported that the Zambia international has been offered a deal worth around R10 million by Algeria’s JS Kabylie.

“Algerian club JS Kabylie has offered Justin Shonga a contract. They have offered him a three-year deal worth R10 million,” confirmed a source.

Shonga had a trial with Benni McCarthy’s AmaZulu prior to the start of the current DStv Premiership season, but nothing materialised.

Shonga played 77 matches in all competitions for Orlando Pirates between 2017 and 2020 as well as 13 for the Citizens.
