Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Khethokwakhe Masuku says he is eager to play his way back into the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

The 35-year-old is currently competing in the ABC Motsepe League, but remains determined to catch the eye of a DStv Premiership club before he hangs up his boots.
“Through the part I have taken, personally I think it’s gonna happen,” Khethokwakhe Masuku told KickOff.

“I believe it’s still gonna happen. It’s just a minor delay but I believe it’s gonna happen. The very same person that I was, I’m still gonna be the very same person. Cause I can see some of the guys like Luyolo Nomandela are making a comeback to prove that they can still do it.
“For me personally it’s not a matter of being famous and that now I have to start from the bottom. I can play wherever because football is my passion. I’m not doing anybody a favour by playing football.

“Me playing in the ABC Motsepe League I’m still keeping fit. I’m looking forward to get back to the elite league. I play with a purpose, I’m not here to stay.”
