Former Kaizer Chiefs winger joins FOURTH team since leaving Naturena

Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Edmore Chirambadare has moved on to his fourth GladAfrica Championship club just three years after departing Naturena.

Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Edmore Chirambadare has moved on to his fourth GladAfrica Championship club just three years after departing Naturena.

“Spanner” as he is known in footballing circles, has signed for Pretoria Callies on a one-year contract with an option of a further year, according to the Kickoff website.

The 29-year-old Zimbabwean spent two years at Kaizer Chiefs (2016-2018) playing a total of 27 matches.

He then moved to Maccabi at the start of the 2018/19 season where he spent a season before switching to Real Kings where he also lasted a year.

Towards the end of 2020 he found his way to Steenberg United where he made an impact despite the club ultimately being relegated.

Pretoria Callies coach Joel Masutha has now signed Chirambadare in the hope he helps improve the team’s fortunes in their second season in the first division.

Callies finished a respectable eighth in the 16-team GladAfrica Premiership standings in their maiden 2020/21 season.
