Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be ready to make some wholesale changes ahead of the next season, as per reports.

The first of those changes is expected to be that of their entire coaching staff, with Nasreddine Nabi coming in.

This publication reported on Wednesday that Chiefs are already expecting the arrival of Nabi’s assistant Fernando da Cruz. The Frenchman is expected to land in South Africa soon and hit the ground running at Naturena. It’s expected that it will be he, who kicks preseason off laying the groundwork for Nabi upon his arrival. The Tunisian tactician has potential one more assignment in charge of AS FAR. A Throne Cup semifinal against Maghreb Fes on Sunday.

Khune set to leave Chiefs?

Earlier on Wednesday, this publication reported that AS FAR were still hopeful of convincing Nabi to stay on. The two parties are set to have a talk where the outcome is expected to be a parting of ways. This with Chiefs the expected destination.

Now as soon as Nabi returns, he will have some big decision to make on the playing staff, however. One such department that needs that is the goalkeeping. Club legend Itumeleng Khune sees his playing future hanging in the balance and is reported to be on his way out. It’s now reported by Soccer-Laduma that, they have identified his replacement in TS Galaxy’s Fiacre Ntwari.

Ntwari subsequently identified as replacement?

“Indications are that the Soweto giants are looking at possibly bringing in Fiacre Ntwari, who has been doing well in the colours of Galaxy. Khune is expected to bring an end to his time at Naturena, leaving Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma in the goalkeeping department. Chiefs are in the market to add someone else to the goalkeeping department and Ntwari appears to have impressed both management and the incoming technical team. Amakhosi are set to make announcements on the number of changes happening within the club, and Ntwari could be one of the names included on this list.” Wrote the publication.

It now remains to be seen if Khune will indeed leave Chiefs, however. If so, will Ntwari be the perfect replacement? Leave your comments below Amakhosi fans!
