TOUGH PSL START FOR CHIEFS AND PIRATES

Kaizer Chiefs face a tricky away fixture against Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize’s Royal AM.

It will be a massive test for the Glamour Boys’ new coaching team of Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard who will want to show that their new-look Amakhosi side are a vastly improved outfit this season.

On the other side of Soweto, we have the first Soweto derby of the season as Orlando Pirates play hosts to Swallows FC at the Orlando Stadium in what is also a tricky test.

The opening match of the season will see a mouth-watering encounter between last season’s top two finishers.

Current champions Mamelodi Sundowns will start their title defence at the Cape Town Stadium when they take on Cape Town City FC on Friday, 5 August.
