Norodien had recently been plying his trade in the Democratic Republic of Congo for Daring Club Motema Pembe.

Things started of well in the DRC

After reports of a positive start to his career at the Linafoot outfit, Norodien was soon embroiled in a salary payment scandal. While Norodien was churning out impressive performances on the field, it was soon alleged that the club had not been paying the salaries of the players. When the initial reports started to hit the media, they were vehemently denied by the intermediary that had organised the players move to Club Motema Pembe.

However, after just four months, Norodien brought his career in the DRC to an end, as he decided to return to South Africa. Now fresh upon his return to the country, it seems as if the player is not short of potential suitors, who at least want to take a look at the player. Reports earlier this week had claimed that the winger was interesting the likes of Baroka FC , and that he was set to begin training with them this coming Monday.

Royal AM join the race for Norodien

While those plans are already in motion, iDiski Times also reports that Baroka are not the only team keen to see Norodien from up close. The publication writes that he is also of interest to Durban-based DStv Premiership new boys Royal AM. It is said that the Shauwn Mkhize owned outfit have already made contact with the players’ representatives over an assessment process. Evidently, should he not make the grade at Baggage then he will have a second chance to make it back to the South African topflight.

Should Norodien make it back to the DStv Premiership, it would mark his first season stint back for two years, having last turned out for Cape Town City FC. Before leaving the country’s shores, he was plying his trade at Cape Town Spurs in the GladAfrica Championship.
