It now looks as if, Pirates are not the only club that are thought to be on the hunt for the speedy winger, with the latest rumours now suggesting that Mogaila could even have the option of moving to Europe on the table. According to The Citizen, a club from Uzbekistan.

Club trying to beat Pirates to Mogaila

“They are very serious and are not hiding anything. They are coming in above board with their sporting director already making plans to fly in. He (the sporting director) has spoken to his (Mogaila’s) representatives but they sent him to the club because he is still contracted there. The club’s name is FC Nasaf and they are rebuilding.” Said the source to the publication.

Mogaila is thought to have been of interest to Pirates since emerging as a promising talent from the Varsity Cup football structures. It was Highlands Park who signed him, however, offering him a deal to the DStv Premiership straight out of University of Johannesburg. When the club got sold to TS Galaxy, he moved to Ndebele with the team. He did not last long however, as he was released before being picked up by Royal AM.

Now Royal AM could earn a profit on the player should Pirates have concrete interest in Mogaila and decide to offer the KZN side a transfer fee for him. Alternatively, the Buccaneers could play it smart and wait another season to get the services of both Mogaila and another reported winger target Katlego Otladisa of Marumo Gallants for free when their contracts expire.
