Ethan Brooks eyes silverware in debut season for AmaZulu

Ethan Brooks is targeting a trophy during his first season with KwaZulu-Natal DStv Premiership side AmaZulu.

The Bafana Bafana midfielder was signed by the Durban-based outfit from top-flight rivals TS Galaxy – along with a raft of new signings and player departures.

Joining Brooks at AmaZulu for the upcoming season are Gabadinho Mhango, Dumisani Zuma, Thendo Mukumela, Veluyeke Zulu, Riaan Hanamub, Augustine Kwem and Rally Bwalya.

Ethan Brooks, still only 21, is hoping to make his mark in his debut campaign at Usuthu.

AmaZulu finished last season in seventh place

He was reported by the Citizen to have said: “My expectation for this season is to help the club to achieve its goals and objectives for the season.

“One of those objectives is to collect a trophy, so I am really glad to be part of the team and I am glad to help with that expectation.”

AmaZulu finished seventh in the recently completed DStv Premiership season.

As a result they will take on Cape Town City FC in the first round of the MTN8.
