The players deemed surplus to requirements at the Team of Choice are Tyroane Sandows and Gabon international midfielder Nathanael Mbourou.

Sandows joined Maritzburg United at the beginning of the season having spent over a decade playing in Brazil. However, the 25-year-old only made two appearances for the KwaZulu-Natal side.

Meanwhile, Mbourou also arrived ahead of the current season from Gabon side CF Mounana and played in the first four matches of the season.

However, once current coach Ernst Middendorp took over, Mbourou dropped to the bench and then out of the match-day squad altogether in recent times.
