To frustrate Amakhosi fans even more, TS Galaxy were reduced to 10 men in the 56th minute when midfielder Marks Munyai was shown a second yellow card.

Kaizer Chiefs stayed fifth in the standings with 28 points after 19 matches, a yawning 27 points adrift of log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, although the Glamour Boys have played two more matches.
TS Galaxy moved up to 10th place with 23 points after 20 matches.

Kaizer Chiefs will next be in action in a Nedbank Round of 32 clash away against Maritzburg United on Friday, 10 February at 19:30.
