Eric Mabuza of Mabuza Attorneys, the law firm representing the club, confirmed this is a statement on Tuesday morning.

“It was a good settlement. It’s a settlement where both sides are happy.”, stated Mabuza.

It has been an excellent week for Mabuza and Royal – who bought PSL status from Bloemfontein Celtic and played their first DStv Premiership match over the weekend. The club failed to honour all four playoff matches which ensured Chippa United stay atop and that Gavin Hunt’s new side is in the PSL this season.

Now, they have settled a long ongoing case and they are officially playing top-flight football in the PSL.

Nande Becker, the PSL prosecutor could not be reached for comment at this time.
