According to a Kickoff source, the side’s technical team, Abraham Nteo, Ditheko Mototo, and coach Maduka will be called into a meeting this week with their future involvement in the club very much in doubt if results don’t improve immediately.

“There are some other issues more than the performance of the team,” the source said.

“It’s just a matter of time before the club announces changes to their technical team.

“The match against Chippa United could determine the future of John Maduka and his technical team.”

Meanwhile, South African Football Players Union (SAFPU) deputy secretary-general, Calvin Motloung confirmed that outstanding player salaries would be paid by the club.

“There was a misunderstanding with the previous owners including the issue of other contracts where some players had an option.

“The club has promised to sort out the salaries of those players who did not get their salaries last month while still trying to sort out the issue of their contracts,” Motloung told Kickoff.

The Royal AM squad size, believed to be in the region of as many as 62 players, is said to be half the problem.
