Oh, the beauty of the internet. Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has expressed his love for South African football’s culture of dressing room singing before games.

MARCUS RASHFORD LOVES DSTV PREMIERSHIP TEAM SINGING CULTURE

The Manchester United star came across the video that went viral on Twitter this weekend. The post was an old video of the Cape Town City team in song before a local match.

In it, we see the club’s popular young mascot Matteo leading the players in a song from the dressing room towards the field of play.

The video was brought back to life after it was shared by the leading British journalist Paul Hayward on Saturday.

Wayward simply captioned the video saying: “We need this in British football.”

What followed next was not fully expected. Man United’s superstar Rashford encouraged the sentiment by saying: “Togetherness, love this.”
