Eagle-eyed soccer fans would’ve been a little perplexed by the tweet put out by Kaizer Chiefs confirming the exit of ‘Lazalous’ Kambole.

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs this week confirmed the intended departures of NINE players as they look to rebuild – yet again – under new coach Arthur Zwane.

As reported by The South African website, Samir Nurkovic, Lazarous Kambole, Lebogang Manyama, Daniel Cardoso, Leonardo Castro, Daniel Akpeyi, Kearyn Baccus and Dumisani Zuma have all not had their contracts renewed, while Anthony Akumu Agay has been placed on transfer.

In addition, Amakhosi have parted ways with former coach Stuart Baxter’s son, Lee, who performed goalkeeping duties at the club since February 2018.

However, eagle-eyed soccer fans would’ve been a little perplexed by the tweet put out by Kaizer Chiefs confirming the exit of Kambole which referred to the 28-year-old Zambian forward as ‘Lazalous’.
