Could SuperSport go on the (Gavin) Hunt for this Chiefs player?

A player who has been linked with a possible Chiefs exit could reportedly be on the target list of PSL rivals SuperSport United.

After an impressive start to his career at Chiefs, Phathutshedzo Nange has battled injuries in 2022-23, and game-time has been few and far between.

Coach Arthur Zwane may believe the best is yet to come from the midfielder, but at a stage when there will be a question mark over a contract extension, he could be heading out of Naturena.

That exit talk has been gaining traction for some time, and according to Kick Off, Nange is one of the players who SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt may be interested in as planning begins to bolster their squad for next season.

SuperSport are currently second on the league table, and will be hoping to close the gap even further on Sundowns in the next league campaign.

As part of the squad planning, SuperSport could look to target Nange and Mosa Lebusa, who is coming out of contract at Sundowns in the middle of the year.

“Both Nange and Lebusa are part of the players that have been identified with the intention to lure them to SuperSport United next season,” a source told Kick Off.
