Sundowns circling as Mayo’s future takes a twist

It’s widely reported that Kaizer Chiefs have made Cape Town City attacker Khanyisa Mayo one of their primary transfer targets. City open to selling at the right price

If/when Mayo extends his contract, reportedly until June 2028, the Citizens will be able to fetch an impressive fee when they decide to sell the talented 24-year-old attacker, who will be 25 in August. The Brazilians will not be deterred by City’s asking price for Mayo, which is only going to increase exponentially after he pens a new deal, but will Chiefs be able to play ball at that financial level?

Are Chiefs willing to go all out for Mayo and pay a fee which is rising all the time? We shall see.
