Chippa United suspend Gavin Hunt – report

Chippa United have reportedly suspended Gavin Hunt following a series of poor results since his appointment as head coach.

Hunt joined Chippa United at the start of the season after months out of the job, and he was expected to turn their fortunes around.

However, things have not been going his way as results continue to go against the Chilli Boys so far this season.

According to Soccer Laduma, Hunt was informed of the decision to suspend him on Sunday as the club’s hierarchy looks into whether to sack him or allow him to continue.

Under Hunt, Chippa United have collected seven points in 10 league games, and they are placed 14th on the DStv Premiership log.

In fact, Chippa United last won a match in the opening week of the season, and this record has not sat well with Chippa Mpengesi and his management.
