REPORT: Chippa United sack Daine Klate!

Chippa United have reportedly sacked Orlando Pirates legend Daine Klate who was only appointed as head coach at the start of the season.

Klate had been in charge of seven league matches for Chippa United, losing four matches, winning just and drawing two.

And with five points from seven matches, Klate’s tenure was the same as the team’s previous two seasons at this stage.

His sacking comes on the back of Chippa United narrowly losing 1-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns in the league on Wednesday night.

According to SABC Sport, returnee Morgan Mammila and Siyabulela Gwambi were the ones in charge of Thursday’s training session.

And the duo could lead the Chilli Boys when they visiy AmaZulu in the league on Saturday. Mammila recently rejoined Chippa United from All Stars.

He was appointed as the technical director but he was seen barking instructions on the bench against Sundowns.
