Cavin Johnson confirms NO contact with Orlando Pirates!

Former Al Ahly assistant manager Cavin Johnson is back in South Africa and is open to coaching again in the Premier Soccer League.

Former Al Ahly assistant manager Cavin Johnson is back in South Africa and is open to coaching again in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Cavin Johnson, 62, has previously taken charge of Platinum Stars (twice), SuperSport United, AmaZulu and Black Leopards.

In 2020 he joined Pitso Mosimane at Al Ahly in Egypt as Jingles’ right-hand man.

Media reports in recent times have linked Johnson with both Orlando Pirates and Marumo Gallants who are currently both without a head coach.

In an interview with Kickoff, Cavin Johnson confirmed he was back in Mzansi and after relaxing with family and friends he was looking for a coaching position once again.

“I have been relaxing with my family. I am ready to work and listen from any offers,” Cavin Johnson said.

“I just see all the reports on newspapers. I have not been approached by any team. At the moment there is nothing, lets wait and see what will happen.”
