With just two days since making history by becoming the first ever club to clinch 16 points in the CAF Champions League, as well as the PSL’s decision to welcome back fans to the stadiums, Sundowns have lost their leading drum player.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of our beloved Master Drummer, John Black Madumo,” the club said.

“May your drum beat remain throughout the Yellow Nation forever.”

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns are now looking ahead to return to PSL action with a game against the relegation-threatened Swallows FC at Dobsonville on Wednesday 6 April.

During a chat with Robert Marawa this week, the 31-year-old player from Matatiele believes that Broos simply has a mysterious issue against him.
