Keagan Buchanan, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Sphelele Mthembu, Philani Zulu, Kgotso Moleko, Pule Ekstein and Tsepo Masilela are all former Chiefs players..

Two names stand out here – Majoro and Masilela. They are both Amakhosi legends. While the likes of Moleko, Ekstein and Zulu are regular household names that Naturena once grew accustom too.

Now, the tables have turned and Chiefs may have to encounter their former players.

Buchanan has been used the most frequently to date, making eight appearances so far. He is likely to start alongside Majoro and Mthembu who have had seven starts in this year’s DStv Premiership.

Ekstein is less likely to start but he is a weapon available in McCarthy’s arsenal should he crave some flair from his squad.

Finally, Philani Zulu and Kgotso Moleko, the two former Amakhosi players who signed for Usuthu at the start of the season are unlikely to feature having been used sparingly all season.
