The PSL returns to action this weekend and it is neck-and-neck with a single point separating Benni McCarthy’s AmaZulu, Kaizer Chiefs, and Orlando Pirates.

So who takes the narrow lead ahead of the resumption of the DStv Premiership?

After ten action-packed rounds of PSL action, it is Amakhosi who hold the lead over their Soweto rivals, Pirates and McCarthy’s Usuthu. Chiefs lie in sixth place with 15 points after their four wins, three draws and three losses.

Usuthu and the Bucs sit level on 14 points after the first ten rounds.

They are both on 14 points and have the same goal difference (+1). Both sides have 3 wins, 5 draws and two losses so far. However, it is Pirates who sit one place above AmaZulu due to the Bucs scoring more goals.

The Buccaneers have scored eleven goals to Usuthu’s seven. This means that Orlando Pirates currently occupy seventh position while AmaZulu currently sit eight in the latest PSL standings.

Orlando Pirates travel to Golden Arrows while AmaZulu take on Stellenbosch FC on Saturday, 20 November.
