When it comes to wheels, there’s no doubt that among South Africa’s footballers Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and BMW vehicles are the most popular.
Buccaneers duo Tshegofatso Mabasa and Fortune Makaringe have showcased their Beamer SUVs on social media.

Mabasa purchased a BMW X3 Msport recently as seen on his Instagram account. The ride is priced around the R895 000 mark.
Mabasa, still only 24, joined Orlando Pirates from then Bloemfontein Celtic in July 2019. He has gone on to play 47 matches to date, scoring 17 goals in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Makaringe also took to his Instagram account recently where it’s clear he’s long been a fan of the BMW range of vehicles, owning a 1 Series as well as a SUV.
Makaringe, 28, also joined Orlando Pirates in July 2019 from Maritzburg United. He has played 76 matches in all competitions for the Buccaneers and scored five goals to date.
