Oh how the times have changed. It was not long ago that Bros was selecting no Amakhosi players, dropping them at ease. Therefore, there has been some improvement from a couple of Chiefs players with this man in particular grabbing Broos attention and praise.

That man is Njabulo Blom.

Here’s what Broos had to say on Blom:

I think when I saw the performances of Kaizer Chiefs the last five or six weeks, they were struggling a bit although they are doing better little by little now, but Blom was always performing,” Broos stated on KickOff.

That is a sign of character in a player, to perform well even when the team does not and on a consistent bases. Broos believes Blom is exactly what he is looking for in terms of the national side and the type of player he needs.

“What he is doing now is also what I am looking for,” Broos added.
