Ayi Ngeke: Royal AM won’t sell star to Kaizer Chiefs

Royal AM and Bafana Bafana striker Victor Letsoalo has opened up on the speculation linking him to Kaizer Chiefs.

Royal AM and Bafana Bafana striker Victor Letsoalo has opened up on the speculation linking him to Kaizer Chiefs.

The Durban club are even less likely to do business with the Glamour Boys after the Dillon Solomons saga.

Letsoalo has been consistently linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs since Royal AM acquired the striker along with his Bloemfontein Celtic teammates.

He may not have agreed the deal that saw him move to Durban but Letsoalo says that he is focused on achieving for Royal AM.

Royal AM star not thinking about rumours

Letsoalo says that he wants to win trophies with Royal AM and help the club do well in continental competitions.

“No, no, I’m focusing on where I am at this moment. All the focus now is, to mantain the position we at in the league and win the Nedbank Cup. Me scoring goals for Royal AM is the most important thing for me,” Letsoalo told the media. 

“I can’t be stressing about teams that want me, my focus is on Royal AM.”

Letsoalo says that a recent visit to Johannesburg was to conduct personal affairs, not related to football.

He hit out at reports that he was unsettled at Royal AM, claiming they have no basis.

Letsoalo also added: “No, I was okay, when I was in Johannesburg to sort out my things and people started creating their own stories, saying I wasn’t happy, which is not true.”

The 29-year-old has caught the eye leading the line last season.

Letsoalo scored 14 times in the Premiership this last term and had also struck twice in three Nedbank Cup matches.

Unlike Chiefs MaMkhize’s team have secured Caf Confederation Cup football next term.
