The questions are done with. Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed Arthur Zwane is in charge of the most demanding job in South African sport.

KAIZER CHIEFS ANNOUNCE ARTHUR ZWANE

As The South African reported on Thursday, Amakhosi held a press conference at the FNB Stadium where Arthur Zwane was unveiled as the permanent head coach on a three-year deal.

10 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ZWANE

  1. Joined Kaizer Chiefs as a player from Tembisa Classic in 2000
  2. Two league titles and the African Winners’ Cup
  3. His nickname as a player was “10 111”
  4. Played as a right-winger
  5. Retired from playing on 1 February 2010
  6. Zwane’s coaching qualifications include a UEFA B Licence, CAF A and B licenses 
  7. Arthur’s Zwane African name is Jabulani
  8. His new nickname as a coach is “Mangethe,” which is believed to be his Zulu clan name
  9. According to Transfermarkt, Zwane’s favoured formation is the 4-4-2 (double 6)
  10. Zwane played five games as the interim: Two wins, two draws, and one defeat.
