He added that what Prosport International is trying to achieve is to ensure that both Jali and Coetzee have new contracts with Sundowns.

Makaab further revealed that both Jali and Coetzee are still very happy at Sundowns, ending speculation that the former Orlando Pirates star was considering a move away from Chloorkop.

“At this point in time the options are exercised and it’s just about looking at new contracts for them, which we are in the process of discussing with Sundowns,” Makaab told Soccer Laduma.

“The options will be exercised in May and the indications (from the club) are that it’s going to happen. Those players are very happy to stay with Mamelodi Sundowns,” added Makaab.

Jali has been a regular member of the Manqoba Mngqithi’s team this season with 18 appearances across all competitions thus far.

He has registered a single assist to his name this season.

Coetzee, on the other hand, has featured 14 times for the Tshwane giants thus far and boast two assists having played almost all the games in midfield.
