AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu pays tribute to King Goodwill Zwelithini

Sandile Zungu, president of AmaZulu FC, has expressed his sadness at the death of King Goodwill Zwelithini.

Sandile Zungu, president of AmaZulu FC, has expressed his sadness at the death of King Goodwill Zwelithini.

Zungu expressed his deepest and heartfelt condolences – as well as on behalf of the entire family of AmaZulu FC – to all members of the Zulu Royal Family, the Zulu nation, the government and the people of South Africa.

Recently, King Goodwill Zwelithini gave his blessing to the acquisition of AmaZulu FC by the Zungu family.

Zungu attributed the change of fortunes in AmaZulu’s on-field performances to King Goodwill Zwelithini’s blessings.

King Zwelithini made history as the longest-serving monarch of the Zulu Kingdom with a reign spanning over five decades.

King Zwelithini died in a KwaZulu-Natal hospital on Friday, 12 March.

He was being treated for high blood glucose levels and had been admitted to ICU.
