Agent confirms huge interest in former Orlando Pirates defender

Former Orlando Pirates defender Justice Chabalala is already attracting interest from a number of clubs following his departure at Mayfair last week.

Chabalala was recently released by Pirates who deemed him surplus to requirements after spending a few seasons out on loan since joining the club.

The lanky centre-back spent last season on loan at Sekhukhune United where he had hoped to convince Pirates to perhaps consider him for next season.

However, the arrival of Nkosinathi Sibisi and Tapelo Xoki was an indication that Pirates are eager for a squad overhaul in order to bring back the old glory days.

Now, according Chabalala’s agent Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi, the player’s next move will be a permanent and there is already huge interest.

Mulovhedzi thanked Pirates chairman Dr Irvin Khoza for his understanding following the exit talks he held with him over Chabalala.

CHABALALA’S AGENT CONFIRMS INTEREST FOLLOWING ORLANDO PIRATES EXIT

“It is true that Chabalala parted ways with Pirates after long discussions with the Pirates management. I would like to thank Pirates chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza for understanding and giving us an opportunity,” said Mulovhedzi to Daily Sun.

“Now, the 30-year-old is in search for work where he will stay permanently. There are other clubs that are interested in Chabalala.”
