MOSIMANE ATTENDS FIRST OFFICIAL MEETING

Mosimane had his first official meeting with the entire board of Al Ahly on Tuesday evening.

However, it was not quite the original face-to-face meetings you’d expect. Reminiscence of peak Covid lockdown days, Jingles attended a virtual meeting on Zoom.

Mosimane is still in South Africa but he was able to attend this important meeting online.

“Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly’s president, held a video meeting on Tuesday night with Pitso Mosimane, the team’s head coach,” the club said in a statement on iDiskiTimes.

“The meeting saw the presence of Al Ahly Football Company board, headed by Yasseen Mansour, Hossam Ghaly, the club’s board member, and the club’s planning committee members, Mohsen Saleh and Zakaria Nassef,”

“During the meeting, they discussed some points regarding the first team’s preparations for the upcoming period. Moreover, they are set to hold another meeting with the team’s coach upon his arrival in Cairo on Friday,” the statement read.

So, what exactly was the meeting about and is Mosimane’s future still secure?

Well… yes, it is but there is a second meeting coming this Friday. The meeting was held to discuss preparations for the Egyptian giants ahead of the next season.

“During the meeting, they discussed some points regarding the first team’s preparations for the upcoming period. Moreover, they are set to hold another meeting with the team’s coach upon his arrival in Cairo on Friday,” Al Ahly stated.
