Pitso Mosimane continues to do most at Al-Ahli, and this time, he took them to the summit of the Saudi First Division log.

On Tuesday, Al-Ahli played a catch up game against Al-Jabalain, and they beat them 3-0 to go level on points with Al-Faisaly but with a better goal difference.

This is the first time that Mosimane’s men find themselves at the top of the log as the Kagiso-born mentor remains unbeaten at Al-Ahli.

Al-Ahli have gone 12 games without losing a competitive match – and that’s seven wins and five draws since Mosimane took over.

Meanwhile, Mosimane recently bolstered his Al-Ahli squad with the signing of Brazilian striker Amaral, also known as Marcao, from Wuhan Three Towns after guiding them to the Chinese Super League title with 27 goals in 26 games.

He made the switch to Saudi Arabia in a deal worth €4.5 million (R83 million) and will add firepower to Mosimane’s squad as they look to secure promotion to the top-flight.
