Pitso Mosimane continues to shine amid uncertainty in Saudi Arabia

The legendary South African manager, whose future is uncertain at Al Ahli Saudi, has been named Coach of the Month for May in the Saudi Arabian First Division. He guided his side back to the top-flight, so this award comes as no real surprise with his team hitting their straps in the final stretch of the campaign. He also won the award in February.

Al Ahli Saudi coy on Pitso’s future

Al-Ahli Saudi were one of four clubs forming part of the country’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), who own an 80% share in Premier League side Newcastle United, took control over. Mosimane also revealed he and his technical staff hadn’t been paid since April. Jingles insists he has earned an automatic extension to his current contract after securing promotion for the Jeddah based side.

However, all contract talks have been placed on hold until the new PIF takeover is complete.
