Initially, it was believed that Mosimane and Al Ahly parted ways on mutual terms with no issues whatsoever.
However, shocking reports on KingFut have emerged from Al Ahly exposing how Mosimane’s actions lead to his departure.

Mosimane parted ways with Al Ahly in what was thought to be a mutual agreement with no conflict but this was not the case.
Turns out, Mosimane’s dispute with the Al Ahly board was the main reason for his exit.

Al Ahly forward Mohamed Barakat revealed the real reasons for Mosimane’s exit.
“He was backed by the board, but he was also taking aim at them during the press conferences in the latter stages of his stint to make a point,” Barakat stated on the same publication.

ACTIONS LEADING TO HIS DEPARTURE
Furthermore, Mosimane made inappropriate comments on players.
“Not to mention the way he spoke about renewing his contract, and then about his players in an inappropriate manner,” he added.

The final straw was when Jingles implied that the club is run and influenced by social media.
“I think the final straw for him was when he insinuated that the club is led by opinions on social media which is unacceptable because Al Ahly is a big club,” Barakat confirmed.

Therefore, there is a chance that Mosimane was indeed axed as apposed to parting ways.
Only he and the Al Ahly board will know the truth.
