In a repeat of the 2018 Nedbank Cup final which was played at Moses Mabhida Stadium, Chiefs will host TS Galaxy, but it’s really the battle between Pirates and AmaZulu that will draw most interest.

Meanwhile, Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler has reacted to the draw that will see his team travel to KZN to take on Royal AM.

“We got a tough draw away against Royal AM,” Tinkler told the club’s media department.

“But in order to win the Nedbank obviously you’ve got to be able to beat everybody to get to that final.

“So you know, yeh, a tough team to play against. We’ve played against them obviously away from home in the league and we managed to get a win against them. And nothing says we can’t do that again.

“So that’s obviously going to be our objective and our purpose.”

The prize money is still kept at R7 million, meaning the Nedbank Cup remains the second big Cup competition in South Africa after the MTN8.
