Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau bagged his second goal for RSC Anderlecht in his first start for the club as he helped them to a two-all draw against KSV Oostende on Friday night.
The 26-year-old is in his second loan spell in the Belgian top flight, having turned out for reigning champions Club Brugge last season.
After finding the net on debut – coming on as a substitute in the 3-1 win over Sint-Truiden – he was again in the scoresheet.
In what was only his third appearance for Anderlecht – his first in the starting XI – Tau was a central figure in the Belgian giants’ fightback after they found themselves two goals down.
Robert D’Haese and Makhtar Gueye put Oostende 2-0 up just after the half-hour mark, a lead which was halved when Adrien Trebel responded for Anderlecht in the 35th minute.
The comeback was complete when Tau linked up with Trebel in a quick one-two and finished past goalkeeper Guillaume Hubert after going one-on-one with the shot-stopper.

In his third loan spell since signing for English outfit Brighton and Hove Albion in 2018, Tau has scored a goal on debut for each of the three Belgian clubs he’s turned out for.
He was first shipped out to Royal Union Saint-Gilloise in the First Division B, where he was named Player of the Year scoring 13 goals and providing as many assists during his stint there.
His first season in the Belgian top flight was in the colours of Club Brugge, where he also competed in the prestigious Uefa Champions League.
Tau helped the outfit to league glory, finding the net four times across competitions, with eight assists.
In three appearances for Anderlecht, he already has found the net twice, and will look to continue his good form when they host Cercle Brugge on Sunday, 13 September.
