Nedbank Cup final: Orlando Pirates vs Sekhukhune match SOLD OUT!

The Nedbank Cup final between Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United has officially been SOLD OUT, the league confirmed on Thursday.

The Nedbank Cup final between Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United has officially been SOLD OUT, the league confirmed on Thursday.

This match will be played at Loftus Versveld Stadium on Saturday with kick-off scheduled for 18:00.

On Wednesday, there were just below 5 000 tickets left, but the league has now confirmed that the venue will be full to capacity.

The Loftus Versveld Stadium takes close to 52 000 spectators but due to safety reasons, the league didn’t sell the maximum capacity.

The 2023 Nedbank Cup final will be a SOLD OUT affair.

ORLANDO PIRATES MIDFIELD ANCHOR SUSPENDED FOR NEDBANK CUP FINAL

Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates will be without their key midfield anchor for Saturday’s Nedbank Cup final against Sekhukhune United.

According to the PSL, Makhehlene Makhaula will not be available for Pirates after having accumulated four yellow cards leading up to this game.

Makhaula was instrumental in Pirates reaching the final as his display against Kaizer Chiefs in the semi-finals was impressive.

In his absence, Pirates will most likely pin their hopes on Miguel Timm and Thabang Monare in midfield with Ben Motshwari likely to be on the bench.
