According to Sport Witness, Milinković continues to be strongly linked with interest from Man United, with reports suggesting that there is an agreement between Mateja Kezman (the player’s agent) and Lazio president and owner Claudio Lotito that he can leave in the summer.

Juventus are also said to be in the hunt for the signature of the Serbian, but they reportedly “do not have the necessary financial resources to convince” Lazio, whose asking price for the player is “at least €75m”.

Man United manager making his presence felt

Earlier this month, and according to reports from El Nacional, new Man United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is also a big fan of Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong, and is interested in bringing him to Manchester United to strengthen the Red Devils’ midfield.

Rangnick, who has recently touched down in Manchester as he begins his stint as interim manager, is already looking to make his mark on restructuring elements of the squad.

De Jong rose to stardom during a golden era for Ajax, but since joining Barcelona for over £60m, the 24-year-old has somewhat struggled to continue his upward rise.

With new boss Xavi said to be in favour of La Masia stars Gavi and Nico Gonzalez in his midfield, De Jong could become surplus to requirements, which may open the door for him to make a move to the English powerhouse club.
