Pep Guardiola has three idols in this world. They are Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan and Julia Roberts. He’s revealed in an interview how jealous he was that actress Roberts chose to visit Old Trafford and Man United, rather than City’s Etihad Stadium, when she was in England.

At the time, Pep joked that no matter how many Champions League titles he wins, he’d always be a failure because his Roberts didn’t grace the club with her presence during that one visit to Manchester.

“I am a failure in the Champions League. If I win the Champions League three times in a row I will be a failure. I have three idols in my life. Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, and Julia Roberts,” Guardiola said after his team beat RB Leipzig 7-0 in March.

“Julia Roberts years ago came to Manchester – not in the 1990s when Sir Alex (Ferguson) was winning titles and titles and titles.”
