Sundowns dominate Hollywoodbets Super League awards

Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies continued to dominate the Hollywoodbets Super League even after the season has come to its conclusion.

On Saturday, the league’s sponsors held the awards ceremony where top achievers from the recently ended season were rewarded.

Sundowns Ladies team coach Jerry Tshabalala walked away with the Coach of the Season award after guiding his charges to their third successive league title.

Boitumelo Rabale of Sundowns was named Player of the Season for her outstanding performances throughout the campaign.

Both Tshabalala and Rabale walked away with R50 000 each in prize money to wrap up the year on a high note.

Rabale narrowly missed out on the Golden Boot award which went to JVW striker Nompulelo Nyandeni who scored 30 goals in 30 matches.

Banyana Banyana’s Nthabiseng Majiya of Richmond United walked away with the Young Player of the Season award.
