The Red Devils were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw against 15th-placed Eastern Company on Wednesday.

Despite Eastern Company going a man down in the latter stages of the match, Al Ahly still failed to find a breakthrough as they continue to drop points.

Ahead of their encounter against Ismaily, Soares has made the decision to leave out both Mohamed Hany and Salah Mohsen.

Meanwhile, Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau is also ruled out of the clash with an injury as Hossam Hassan and youngster Ahmed Sayed Ghareeb lead the attack.

Al Ahly are third in the Egyptian Premier League with just four matches remaining.

They trail log leaders Zamalek by 12 points, but do have a match in hand, as they do over second-placed Pyramids who they trail by five points.
