Watch: Kaizer Chiefs introduce new unique feature for national team duty

The mighty Kaizer Chiefs have posted a new unique way to confirm players going to international duty on social media.

Put simply, Kaizer Chiefs have announced Keagan Dolly and Bruce Bvuma’s national team call-ups in style.

As The South African reported on Monday, Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos announced the latest squad to face Guinea and France this month.

Mamelodi Sundowns dominate with five players, Orlando Pirates with three while Kaizer Chiefs will be represented by two players.

Amakhosi have since gone over to social media to posts two announcement video to celebrate the two call-ups. 

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs’ goalkeeper Brandon Petersen has been reported injured and therefore missed on Bafana duty.

BAFANA COACH HUGO BROOS EXPLAINS ANDILE JALI OMISSION

In related news, Sundowns’ in-form midfielder Andile Jali was again left out of the national side.

Coach Broos has since offered a few reasons for the decision, and they sound quite honest and probably valid enough.

“Jali is a player that I know very well, I’ve seen him in Belgium,” Broos said as quoted by Thabiso Mosia.

“But not picking him is a choice I’ve made from the beginning and I’m still okay with it. I will try other players.” Read the full story here.
