The Blues have officially confirmed Brighton & Hove Albion’s Graham Potter as their new boss. This move, however, comes at a significant cost to the London club.

It’s understood that Chelsea will have to pay Brighton £21.5m (R432.5m) to release Potter and his four backroom staff from their respective contracts.
The “hire and fire” strategy has served Chelsea well since the turn of the millennium. It’s a bold, high-cost method but it has guaranteed oodles of silverware.
