English Premier League game week 6

  • There have been goals in both halves in seven of Liverpool’s last eight away league games which bodes well for their 292nd Merseyside Derby away to Everton.
  • There has only been one 0-0 draw in the last 26 meetings between Brentford and Leeds.
  • Both teams have scored in seven of Chelsea’s last eight EPL home games and on Saturday they host West Ham.
  • Ten of the last 11 meetings between Newcastle and Crystal Palace have featured two or fewer goals.
  • Nottingham Forest (who face Bournemouth) have faced more shots (96), more shots on target (39) and have the highest expected goals against total (11.3) of any side in the Premier League this season.
  • Tottenham striker Harry Kane has scored 42 goals in Premier League London derbies – one more against Fulham will see him equal Thierry Henry for the most such goals in the competition’s history.

  • No side has claimed more points from behind this season than Southampton (7), with both of their wins and their one draw coming having conceded the first goal. They face Wolves at Molineux.
  • Man City striker Erling Haaland has scored more Premier League goals (9) this season than 15 entire clubs. Aston Villa is next in his sights.
  • 25 of Leicester’s last 28 away EPL games have seen both teams find the net. Next for the bottom club is a trip to in-form Brighton.
  • Manchester United has kept just one clean sheet in their last 16 Premier League meetings with Arsenal, including conceding in their last eight at home in this fixture.
